A fusion of faith, mirth, multi-culturalism and charitable ideals, JHANKAR NICA celebrates knowledge, perfection,charity and inherits its soul from the diversity of the Indian diaspora.

    Born in the summer of 2010, Jhankar was the brainchild of a few Indian-born Nottinghamians, who share a zest for life. Saraswati, the Goddess of learning, is our presiding deity and we pay homage to her through our annual Saraswati Puja and cultural function. This open house festival unites the local and regional community and showcases in-house and national talents. On the charity front, we have championed the cause of the Nottingham Children's Hospital and Comic relief and aim to help other UK/Indian organisations in the future.
